Rules for Recommendation Technology

Effective from 2 August 2026

1. Technology used

The service ranks catalogue colours by Euclidean distance between the visitor’s selected RGB value and each paint’s RGB value. The match percentage is derived from that distance.

2. Ranking factors

• the selected HEX/RGB colour;
• colour distance;
• the brand filter selected by the visitor.

Smaller colour distance produces a higher position. The site does not use behavioural profiles, purchase history or paid ranking in this release.

3. Controlling recommendations

You can change the results by choosing another colour or brand. Catalogue data is managed by the operator. Questions and notices may be sent to info@vizcolors.ru.
